You are invited to Friends of Atascadero Lake board meeting on Monday July 10th, 5pm in the Pavilion. This is going to be a very interesting meeting. Nick DeBar, Director of Public Works, will be attending and informing us about future plans the City has for Atascadero Lake. We welcome all ideas of what the community would like to see happen at/to Atascadero Lake. Now that the City will be overseeing the well and absorbing all costs related to the well, funds we raise will go directly towards projects that enhance the lake and environment. This is exciting! We are also looking for new board members. We know you love the lake and care about its future. Should you consider becoming a board member, this is the meeting to attend.

We would like to take a moment to thank all of you who have given your time and donations throughout 2017. Initiating and completing a state of the art aeration system has kept our lake free of algae and oxygenated the water creating better water quality. Fish and wildlife have returned for everyone's enjoyment. We could not have accomplished this without your ongoing support.
